While this time of year brings great joy to many, it also brings much sadness to others. It is at times like this when we remember those we have lost.
In the midst of a world where suffering is unavoidable, God proved His love by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, as the substitute for sinners. This is not about nativity scenes and fake appreciation for the birth of a boy in Bethlehem. This is about the greatest miracle ever known; the incarnation of the Son of God.
As Charles Wesley put it so well:
“Veiled in flesh the Godhead see;
Hail th’incarnate Deity,
Pleased as man with men to dwell,
Jesus our Emmanuel.”
